This committee is chaired by the CVOA Rules Interpreter and reports to the CVOA President.

This committee will be responsible for creating three tests each year.

 

#1 Pre-season test part 1 - replaces the NHFS test part 1

#2 Pre-season test part 2 - replaces the NFHS test part 2

#3 Mid-season test for post season eligibility

2020 Volleyball Test Part 1 is now available

CVOA membership,

The CVOA/NFVE volleyball test part 1 is now live and available to all paid and active members Please login to Arbiter account 103372, select "Testing">"CVOA/NFVE 2020 volleyball test part 1" to start.

1)      Each official will be given two attempts to Take the National Federation Volleyball Examination (“NFVE”) and score at least a 90% prior to the competitive volleyball season to receive a status of “Certified”.

  1. Example: first attempt 74%, you have a second chance to get a 90%+
  2. Example: first attempt 89%, you have a second attempt to get a 90%+
  3. Example: first attempt 94%, the test is closed and that is your final score

2)      An official that scores at least a 75% but below 90% will be classified as “Provisional” for the 2020-21 season, and will need to take the CVOA/NFVE closed booked next year.

3)      An official that scores below 75% may take the CVOA/NFVE Part 2 in 7 days to score at least a 75% to be classified “Provisional” and be eligible to work as a CVOA referee for the 2020-21 season.

4)      There are 50 questions

5)      The test closes on August 19, 2020 at 10 PM.

6)      You will have access to review your test starting on August 21, 2020.
