RIP April 4, 2022

It is with unbelievable sadness that I share the news of the passing of our, your dear friend, mentor and colleague Tom Robinson this 4/4/2022. Beyond the impact Tom has made in this Association, our state and nationally over the course of his 30+ year career as a coach, teacher, administrator, white hat referee, Hall of Famer, Big 12 Replay expert, husband, father, grandfather, WE are all better PEOPLE for having had Tom in our lives.

Thank you all for your Prayers and support for Tom, his family, to the CHSAA staff and myself in these short weeks. The timing of this has left our staff devastated and we are all processing this in different ways.

We ask that you respect the family’s and staff’s privacy at this time.

Pete Brenckle Jr.Pete Brenckle

R.I.P April 10, 2020

It saddens us to announce the untimely passing of one of our members, Pete Brenckle, longtime member of CVOA who lost his battle with cancer on April 10, 2020 surrounded by his family and loved ones.

We will surely miss him. He always had a smile on his face and was happy to see you. He was a mentor and friend to all. Many of us came to know Pete as one of the IT guys at the state tournament. And if you were lucky you worked with Pete throughout the years as a colleague on the volleyball court.

At this time the family is waiting to hold a memorial service until after the quarantine has been lifted.
