The vice-president shall assist the president and shall perform such duties as may be assigned to them by the president or by the Executive Board. The vice-president (or if there is more than one, then the vice-president designated by the Executive Board, or if there be no such designation, then the vice-presidents in order of their election) shall, at the request of the president, or in the president’s absence or inability or refusal to act, perform the duties of the president and when so acting shall have all the powers of and be subject to all the restrictions on the president.
